CACE Computer Literacy Prep

I have a question for you.  On the GACE Computer Literacy Skills Test I remember a questions that asked which diagram chart would be acceptable for children charting different temperature rates.  I choose the circle pie chart instead of the chart that had lines to go up and down. I know believe that I should have choose the chart that had blocks as if it came from an excel program.  What do you think I should have choose?
